HSE JOHNNY’S GOT YOU COVERED – SUMMER 2016
Summer has brought us some very exciting projects here at Orangeye and this week we wrapped up a series of videos for the HSE, which have been great fun to work on.
As part of the HSE’s hugely successful Johnny’s Got You Covered campaign, iRadio, along with other Media Central stations, was asked to create individual videos to promote safe sex at three different summer festivals: Sea Sessions, Longitude and the Galway Races.
The brief that was tasked to Orangeye requested that each video should give viewers practical tips about each festival, making sure to include the promotion of safe sex through condom usage.
When planning iRadio’s video, we chose to film three related videos, each featuring two personalities driving to each festival in an iRadio car.
We decided to use the same two people for each video: Garry, the presenter of iRadio’s afternoon show The Lift and Tara from the station’s promotional theme.
Each video’s script revolved around the central brief, with a different twist each time.
When filming, we used a range of techniques, cameras and equipment at our disposal to create multi camera montages inside and outside the car.
Drone footage was used for exterior shots while interior shots used a multi-camera GoPro setup.
To date, the videos have received around 100,000 views on Facebook.
